Bayridge Veterinary Hospital - Welcome
Bayridge Veterinary Hospital, a Naples Florida animal hospital has been open since 2002 and offers outstanding veterinary care with an emphasis on service and compassion for clients and their pets. We are a full service Naples animal hospital that offers wellness services, laser surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, boarding and grooming. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday.
About Our Doctors
Brian E. Theiss DVM
Dr. Brian Theiss grew up in Smithtown, New York and graduated from SUNY at Oneonta College. He received his veterinary degree from the University of Parma in Italy and has lived in Naples, Florida since 1992. Dr. Theiss enjoys surgery, acupuncture and K laser therapy to treat acute and chronic diseases.
Lisa A. Cooper DVM
Dr. Lisa Cooper grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She received a degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Cooper continued at North Carolina State where she also received her doctorate in veterinary medicine. She has lived in Naples, Florida since 1997 and has special interest in internal medicine.
Bayridge Veterinary Hospital - Day Care & Boarding
Our kennel suites offer the creature comforts of home. No pets are confined to a cage. We offer large indoor, climate-controlled runs and soft fleece blankets. Multiple pets from the same family may stay together at a discounted rate. We have both indoor and outdoor play areas and offer both individual and group playtimes.
Our feline friends are allowed to roam in a separate facility with large windows that allow for stimulation from watching birds and lizards. They also have individual indoor playtime with lots of climbing if they wish or simply napping where they like.
You may bring personal items from home, but we cannot guarantee they will be returned as sometimes they may get lost in washing or chewed by the pet. Please use permanent marker to write your pet’s name on all items brought from home. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
We feed diets that are specially formulated for easy digestion, or you may bring your won food if you wish.
Bayridge Veterinary Hospital - Boarding Policies
Dogs
- Current immunizations for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo Virus, and Bordetella
- Heartworm blood test within the last 12 months.
Cats
- Current immunizations for Rabies, Feline Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Panleukopenia, and Leukemia.
All Pets
- fecal examination for internal parasites within the last 12 months
- must be free of external parasites (fleas and ticks) and everyone will be treated for flees upon admission with Capstar
Cleansing Bath
- Option on the day of dismissal
Grooming
- All major grooming is referred to our professional groomer
Emergency or Veterinary Attention
- Any animal that requires emergency or veterinary attention will receive medical attention at our discretion, and at the owner’s expense.
Awareness
- Be aware that your pet’s diet may have varied while away from home. They may have barked at other animals; or the temperature and humidity may be slightly different from your home. This may create problems such as sore throats, or diarrhea. We seek to prevent such problems, however illness may still develop. Owners will be charged appropriate fees for all treatment and medication needed for reasons that are not directly under our control.

- All clients are required to read and sign the boarding admission form.
